You will build a ring with lovely turquoise, labradorite, and other blue and green stones that mirror that beautiful Montana sky
Earring Build Class. Learn all the basics and fall in love with metalsmithing as you make yourself a cool pair of earrings

Embellish your hat, purse with your custom cattle brand. All materials will be included with class. This class runs about 3 hours you will have time to make 2 or more pins.
Build a cool rock ring. You will learn all the skills to build yourself a river rock ring. I have loads of cool rocks for you to choose from or bring your own rock. Think of the size and it must be flatish. All Materials provided class is 3 hours long. Cost is $180
Private Jewelry Lesson
Visiting Livingston? Would you and your friend like to build a custom piece of jewelry while your Husbands are fishing? If you have an idea for a custom small group, I'd love to hear it. My Studio and my expertise is available for individual bookings to suit your schedule. Prices vary from $275 for an individual for a 2-3 hour session or $225 each for 2 people. And a special rate for a group. Contact me for availability.

What to Bring to class:
I provide all tools and materials for your class. Please bring patience, openness and reading glasses if needed. No flowy sleeve blouses. Super long fingernails will make it difficult to work with your hands. Classes involve fine motor skills and the ability to work on a small scale. I suggest you wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. The Studio is a hip converted garage with heat and cooling but on extreme temprature days bring a sweater or a tank top accordingly. If you have questions text me at 509-699-8304. My studio is a well equipped converted garage. It has a hip vibe and is located on the east side of Livingston a block down from Neptunes Brewery. Each student has their own workbench, flex shaft, hand tools, etc. There is a soldering station with ventilation. There is an anvil with loads of hammers, stamps and other forming tools. Because this is a garage studio, occasionally it can get a bit toasty or chilly but we have fans and heaters , complimentary cold and hot drinks and can open the garage door for a cross breeze.
Learn all the basics with 2-3 hour class. Design a functional hip and comfortable pair of earrings, that you will take home with you.This class is the easiest of all my classes. Learn techniques using a jewelers saw, how to change a saw blades, using a bench pin, soldering, filling and finishing. You can customize your earring design to suit your style, but must be similar to the steps we are learning in this course. Make and Take Earring Class costs $170
Learn the techniques needed to build a fabulous river rock ring. I have loads of rocks for you to choose from, or bring in that special rock you have found. Consider the size and shape. Your rock should be mostly flat, at least on one side. You can choose to set one rock or 2 rocks. This is approximately a 3-4 hour class. All materials included. Make and take Rock ring class costs $200

You will Build a beatiful simple ring using turquoise, varasite, labradorite and other blue and green stones . This class is approximatly 3-4+ hours. Materials and stones are included with the cost of the class. Make and Take

I have focused on the Jewelry arts for 40 years. I feel honored to carry on a long tradition of working with my hands and heart, using ancient techniques and tools. I have shown my work in galleries and museums all over the nation and internationally including the Smithsonian Institute of art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and published in numerous books and magazines. Commitment Ring Class:
Build a Commitment band for Your special someone. This class will take you through the process of building a simple band that you can stamp a personal message and dates. You will need to know your partners ring size before the class. The class includes the silver for your band. I have all kinds of stamps, trees, bark, barbed wire, geometric shapes etc... textured hammers and a rolling mill. $190
Bolo Tie Class;
Learn the skills to build a cool one of a kind bolo tie. This is the most challenging class I am teaching. It will require about 4-5 hours hard work and patience. Don't let me talk you out of the class, I just want you to realize the commitment and effort it will take to build this piece. Sterling Silver and a piece of jasper of your choice, Leather bolo cord in either brown or black will be included in your class cost. I have lots of interesting Jaspers from Oregon. Biggs, Picture, Oywee. You can also use a river rock. If you choose to use elk ivories on your tips you will have to supply your own ivories.
